Ok, so admittedly I’m a little slow when it comes to keeping up with internet and marketing trends. So I decide to look into all the #hash tagging we see so much of these days.

#Wikipedia is an awesome source to learn about all this stuff so I won’t bore you with my own description as they already describe it rather well. But to summarize it’s a great way to drive generic traffic to your website and draw attention to from the blogging community to a particular subject.

Experiment with it and watch the results!

Synthetic Turf Council Meeting in Review

Hi All

Just taking a moment to share my experience and notes from the 10th annual STC Meeting this week.

After arriving Friday afternoon and spending the weekend in Orlando at the Renaissance Sea World Hotel ( I know it was hard to break away but someone has to do it) I set up my table Monday morning in anticipation of meeting folks from the Artificial Turf Industry. This was my first time doing a show like this so I didn’t know what to expect or how we would be accepted as a “first timer”.

Here are some notes I took sitting in on the meeting on Monday morning and afternoon:

Topic 1 ” Turf Applications” by Brian Karmie of Forever Lawns & Dakota Harp of Controlled Products LLC

There are many different colors, styles & qualities of synthetic turf and here are some of the applications:

There are many guidelines published on the STC site for proper application to your project

To be continued…

Bond Turf Tape Works Like a Charm

Brian’s Blog May 28, 2013

Just a moment to share another testimony from a new account. We appreciate the gracious comments and will once again let our customers blow our horn for us. Many thanks to all who write.

Subject:                                     Quick Turf Seaming feedback  …. you will like

Hi Brian –

We have been getting to understand and practice with your new hot melt turf seaming system on remnants and such, but today was the first real world landscaping grass install for your just received system.

Here is the actual job closing email from my install foreman moments ago:

The new seaming technique works like a charm and the seams were quite possibly the best ones and the easiest I’ve done EVER!

Turf-Testimony-copy

Certainly music to my ears as the company owner.  That is a nice tight program you’ve got there …… suspect we will be a regular client for you now.  ‘Well done’ accolades to your staff and R&D folks …. this is indeed everything you touted it to be.  It will be difficult to go back to the nasty glue regime now ……

Please do keep me up-to-date on any new developments specific to the turf industry please.

Cheers!

I used your products to seam some outdoor turf a while ago and it help up great. I recently used it again for another turf field install using Bond’s 3” hi-temp turf tape and iron along with the seam sled with super results. I would recommend this product to anyone interested in speeding up & simplifying  their turf seam installations. – John Landwehr April 2013
